ARTS WRITER AND HISTORIAN
Rebecca Schiffman is a New York-based art historian and writer. She studied modern and contemporary art at Hunter College and NYU and is currently working as a Researcher at Ortuzar Projects. She has held positions at Gladstone Gallery, Hauser & Wirth, The Jewish Museum, and Artforum. Her research interests include the French salon and Édouard Manet, female Surrealists, and the ways in which art criticism shapes art history.
